Boat towing services in Ottawa handle boats on trailers that need to be moved between your home, a marina, a repair shop, or winter storage. The Ottawa area sits between the Ottawa River, the Rideau Canal, and dozens of lakes within an hour's drive. That means a lot of boats on trailers on Ottawa roads, and a lot of calls when something goes wrong during transport.

When Ottawa boaters call us

The two busiest times for boat towing are spring launch and fall haul-out. In May and June, boat owners pull their boats out of storage and discover flat trailer tires, seized wheel bearings, or broken trailer lights. They need the boat and trailer moved to a marina or a trailer shop but cannot safely tow it themselves. In October and November, boats come off the water and head to storage facilities, garages, or heated buildings for the winter.

What we tow

We move boats on trailers of all sizes that a standard flatbed or tow vehicle can handle. Fishing boats, runabouts, pontoon boats, bowriders, and personal watercraft on trailers. The boat stays on its trailer and we tow the whole unit to your destination. For boats that are not on trailers, you will need a marine hauler with a travel lift. That is a different service than what we provide.
